Dr. Bhuiyan has done post-graduate residency training in Internal Medicine at Queens Hospital Center (affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital) at the City University of New York, USA He did post-graduate residency training in Neurology & Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neuro-Physiology from the State University of New York, Syracuse, USA. There, he was awarded Departmental Resident Teaching Award for Excellence in Medical Students’ teaching for two consecutive (1997 & 1998) years.
